Outdoor Soccer Season
This year, Connor, Maira AND Hudson wanted to play outdoor soccer. So we had a very busy schedule in May and June getting them all to their various practices and games. It did help that Maira and Hudson were on the same team although I was disappointed for Maira that she didn't get to have the experience of playing on an all-girls team like a lot of girls her age.
Fourth of July
We love Hannah, our American sister-in-law/aunt and so even though we tease her all the time about being American and she teases us right back, we threw a Fourth of July BBQ in her honoUr.
It wasn't anything fancy (especially since we learned our property isn't big enough to qualify for a fireworks permit) but we had a BBQ with a red white and blue dessert, we watched the most American movie we could find on Netflix (National Treasure), and then we lit sparklers on the driveway.

Spring Walks - 2015
One of my favourite things to do, once the snow has melted, is drag my kids out for walks, usually on Sunday evenings. They almost always complain and drag their feet but they sure seem to have fun once we get started...
At this one nature reserve we went to, there were a bunch of hay bales so the kids invented "Hay Bale Parcour".
