Camping at Elk Island
With Jess' busy work schedule and my broken ankle, we didn't get to do any camping as a family this summer. So, with September being quieter for Jess and with me able to walk again, we headed out to Elk Island a couple of weekends in September to do some quick camping trips.
We didn't see any elk but we saw dozens and dozens of bison. The kids decided we should rename the park as Bison Island.

First Day of School 2013
First day of Grade One: (so excited, she barely slept and couldn't eat breakfast)
First day of Grade Ten: (Pretty excited but sad to be going to a different high school than most of her friends)
First day of Grade Four: (SO not excited, refused to even co-operate for a picture)
